You know, this all makes a lot more sense now. xD

You guys might remember this photo making the rounds a while back…

And while it was awesome to see Daniella in a bikini top (and fins, xD) we didn’t really know what was going on.

Well, apparently it was all part of a photoshoot for PETA.

Taking lessons from a real mermaid today for an underwater @PETA photo shoot. So excited! Check out @hannahmermaid. Mermaid power! What an amazing shoot. So grateful to have met hannahmermaid. One of the most memorable experiences of my life. Thank you @jackguyphoto, and @hannahmermaid for such an amazing shoot.

I don’t completely agree with her position, but I respect her views and support her choice to advocate for PETA. 🙂

PETA — People Eating Tasty Animals.

I wonder, would a mermaid make good sushi?

My logic is this, “don’t take the burger out of my hand, and I won’t take the bowl of kale out of yours.”

But for real, Daniella is hands down the hottest mermaid I ever saw in my life. Not that I saw many of them.

I said something about a burger on Twitter to her once. I can’t remember the exact conversation, but I took the side that I will eat meat and she can shut up about it. I was surprised that we actually had a Twitter argument. Then she disappeared. Then I noticed I was seeing anymore of her tweets. So I went to her Twitter page. I was blocked from seeing it.

I don’t care if people want to be vegetarians, that’s her choice.

The thing I don’t get is why it’s “wrong” to eat animals but it’s “okay” to eat plants. I mean… plants are alive. We grow them, chop them up, and eat them. What’s the difference?

    1. Meat cost more to produce (in term of resources used) than plants.
    2. Animals have nerve cells.
    3. Plants are more resilient to being cut up.
    4. You have to eat something.
Still, we in everyday culture separate plants from animals mainly based on an archaic and outdated system. The line between animal and not animal can get real blurry.
