  • Victoria Justice at the OC Fair

    Yesterday, August 2nd 2012, Victoria Justice kicked off her “Make it in America” Tour at the Orange County Fair.

    Of course, I was there. 😉 It’s a bit hard to explain, but the rows in the pit of the amphitheater are curved, so I was in the first seat of the 8th or sow row which ended up being right next to the far right of the stage. At one point, she was about five feet from me.

  • Happy 19th Birthday Ariana!

    Okay, it’s not her birthday until tomorrow but I have my reasons which I will get to in a moment…

    … on Saturday Ariana celebrated her upcoming birthday with a trip to Disneyland. Something I am familiar with doing myself. Among other things, she rode the new Radiator Springs Racers. After waiting in a three hour line!

    How do I know it was a three hour line? Because I was also at Disney’s California Adventure to see the new Car’s Land on Saturday. And as it just so happened, Ariana and myself ended up at almost the same place at the same time.

    I was in the single rider line for Racers about 15 people back from boarding when I looked up I see Ari about to board the ride from the main line. I pushed past a few people to try to get to her and I actually got within six feet of her but they moved her into the queue before I could say anything to her.

    Once she was beyond my reach, I stopped to at least get a few pictures so I would have “proof” for this very post. What I should have done is gotten out of line and staked out the exit of the ride. Oh well, live and learn.

    Anyway, I just wanted to close by again wishing my love Ariana a great birthday and on the off chance that she actually reads this, I would like her to tell us what she thought of Cars Land. I was really impressed, but that’s a conversation for a different blog of mine.

    The lovely Jennette McCurdy did a meet and greet for charity at Sprinkles Cupcakes in Beverly Hills on February 11th, 2012.

    In partnership with the founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes (that’s her on the right in the next pic) sales from all of the Red Velvet cupcakes sold this week will behifit St Jude’s Childeren’s Hospital.

    It was orginally supposed to be for the Susan G. Komen foundation, but that’s another story. And yes, just the Red Velvet cupcakes as my pal Brian demonstrated:
