As we had mentioned before, Jennette’s currently up in Vancouver working on a new movie.
Apparently it’s called “Swindle” and Ariana’s in it too.
But beyond that, well, that’s all I know.
But hey, at least we got some candids. 🙂
And Jennette’s in a dress! Awesome. =]
As always, you can see the full set by clicking any photo above.
I’ve had these two random pics of Jennette in LA for a while …
… but then the whole Jennette Iris Fan Meetup thing happened so posting two random pictures with fans in LA seemed kinda silly.
But what the hell. She’s gonna be in Vancouver for a while so we won’t be seeing much of her for a while I guess. LOL
Okay, so with yesterday’s Ari post, we finally got caught up with the Saturday before last.
So now it’s time to get caught up with Jennette and her fan event in LA this past Saturday 9/22/12.
You see, Jennette wanted to see Cirque Du Soleil’s “Iris” again, so she did the logical thing and invited her local fans to join her for tea.
We were so mature. xD And I’m sure you’re gonna wanna hear the story behind this picture…
… but we so don’t have enough time for that. xD Read the “Behind the Scenes” on my Socal Disney blog if you wanna know more.
So let me just say here that it was a great time and I’m glad that I was able to go.
Oh, and didn’t little Alexi just have the coolest Iris inspired outfit?
Jennette actually asked to take her picture so she could post it on twitter! LOL
Jennette is an awesome person and it was so cool of her to make time for her fans like this.
This event really, honestly, was about the fans, and I feel like my gallery reflects that.
…so if you just wanna see pics of Jennette from the show, you might want to check out JustJennette’s Gallery…
… or as always you can click on any of my picture above to see my orginal photos from the event.
Nick’s new “It girl” Jennette McCurdy was also at the 2012 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards last Saturday.
iCarly was up for an award…
… but they lost to Wizards of Waverly Place.
Which is unfortunate for the cast and crew.
But with Sam & Cat in the works, I’m sure Jennette will be getting that Emmy next time. 🙂
Also, she had an awesome sparkly dress. =]
You can see more of her at the event in the gallery, as always.
It’s good to see Miranda Cosgrove and Jennette McCurdy are still hanging out.
Well… I mostly see Miranda, but you know what I mean. xD
These candids of the girls leaving Katsuya restaurant in LA are from August 20th.
Oh hey, now I can see Jennette! 🙂
And thank goodness Jennette’s (probably) getting her own show. Nick needs her!
You can find the rest of the set in the gallery, as always.
Woah! 😀
So apparently Jennette is on vacation in Maui.
And yes, she’s wearing a bikini. =]
Well, a bikini top paired with a pair of shorts.
Although, especially considering Jennette’s features, I think I’m gonna move the goal post and consider this a win. 😉
Especially when she’s gonna pose like this. xD
And did I mention that she’s really hot? I hope this trend continues. =]
You’ll find the rest of the set in the gallery as always.
I have been meaning to write up this set for a week.
But you see, I’ve had a bit of a busy week with Allisyn, Audrey, and Bella plus, you know, work and stuff.
Anyway, I’m sure you’ll all enjoy these. 😉
And my thanks to whomever it was that told me about this set (I forgot who told me… sorry xD)
The Viva Glitter Viva Glamour video for Jennette was removed from their page because of a copyright claim.
Which explains how I missed it… but I found a copy. 😉
And damn. I was really missing out!
You’ll find more screencaps in the gallery as always.
Alright so you’ve all probably heard about this by now, but I was busy with the Victoria concert when this news broke and I really wanted to comment.
But first, here’s the article from Entertainment Weekly:
Nickelodeon greenlights spin-off pilots for ‘iCarly,’ ‘Victorious’ from creator Dan Schneider — EXCLUSIVE
Although iCarly will soon air its final episode, you may not have to bid farewell to the entire gang. EW has learned that Nickelodeon has ordered spin-off pilots for Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) and Gibby Gibson (Noah Munck) from iCarly creator/executive producer Dan Schneider. Sam’s prospective show also would serve a spin-off vehicle for Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), a popular character from Schneider’s other Nick comedy, Victorious.
In the tentatively titled Sam & Cat, sassy Sam (McCurdy, above right) and eccentric Cat (Grande, above left) buddy up as roommates and start a babysitting business to fund their adventures. ?Meanwhile, in Gibby (which is also a working title), zany Gibby (Munck, left) gets a gig at a recreational center where he winds up as a mentor to four offbeat middle-school students.
Both pilots are slated to begin production this summer.
Schneider has enjoyed a long association with Nickelodeon, having created and executive produced Drake & Josh, Zoey 101, and The Amanda Show. He also served as executive producer of Kenan & Kel and All That.iCarly will conclude its five-season run in November. Meanwhile, Victorious, which will continue its third season this fall, is awaiting word on a fourth season pickup. It is unclear at this time exactly what kind of presence Grande would have on a potential fourth season of Victorious if Sam & Cat receives a series order.
I don’t care about the Gibby spin off. I might check it out, but it really doesn’t interest me.
I had been hoping that Jennette’s new project would NOT be a spin off as I really wanted to see her in a new role. Seeing Sam without her Carly counterpart just seems odd. Likewise, I’m excited for Ariana to be moving up to #2 from #4 on Victorious, but maybe it would have been better for her to have a smarter character? She’s gonna get typecast.
So on the whole, I’m excited. But this isn’t how I would have handled this.
