I’ve always wondered what qualifies someone as a Nick Girl. Amanda Bynes, Emma Roberts, Alexa Nikolas, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Keke Palmer’s show have ended and really haven’t done much with Nick recently (except Keke Palmer in “Rags”). And if girls from older shows qualify, why not go back to Melissa Joan Hart? Mean while others who have been on Nick more recently (Denyse Tontz, Spencer Locke, Kelli Goss, Savannah Jayde, and Ciara Bravo) aren’t listed. Also I want to submit Savannah Jayde as a write in.

In regards to your first question, yes, girls from older shows do qualify. Although if I was gonna talk about Melissa Joan Hart, even though I still know her best as Clarissa, I’d probably put her on the ABC Family site now.
Of the others you’ve listed, I know who Ciara Bravo is but she seemed a little young to discuss here. *googles* Oh, she’s almost 16. She looks younger.
I recognize the name Spencer Locke. I met her back in 2005/2006. What has she done on Nick besides Jennifer #2 on four episodes of BTR?
I’m not really familiar with the other three… *back to google* Okay, so Denyse Tontz, Kelli Goss, and Savannah Jayde are the rest of the Jennifers.
Just out of curriosity, since I guess you’re complaining about all the missing BTR girls, why did you leave out Tanya Chisholm? She’s the only girl besides Ciara that’s actually main title credited. xD

I left of Tanya Chisolm for the same reason I left off Challen Cates, who plays the mother, or anyone who portrayed an adult authority figure: I don’t consider them to be girls, but instead women.
I don’t mean their mature and Nick girls aren’t. Rather I mean that in order to qualify as a Nick girl the character the actress plays should lack experience. Most Nick shows are about the characters experiencing something new. At the same time most authority figures already went through situations similar to what the characters are. This means the target audience really can’t relate to them.
My basic qualifications for Nick girl status are the person in question must 1) be a female 2) who was appeared on Nickelodeon 3) as a character with a name and 4) not have significant authority or 5) experience when introduced. I would also separate them into eras based on when their show was on.
And yes Ciara is young, but she’s also the only reason to watch BTR. She can actually act and be funny unlike most of that show’s cast. -

I would also really love to see Kelli, Denyse and especially Savannah (Savannah is by far my favorite Jennifer, and probably one of my favorite Nick Girls regardless of her lesser role as a Jennifer. They really need more air time because I love them all.) I love me some Jennifers. Lol. I’m also quite fond of Ciara Bravo. It would be nice to see them around the sight, though, I know they don’t get too much publicity, and they don’t go to ALL of those events, but I do know for sure that they go to some of them (not really sure which ones though).
