We’ve been talking about “A Snow White Christmas” for a while now.
Ariana is an amazing girl. Since wrapping Victorious not only has she been working on her album and just generally being awesome, but she also signed on to do a play in Pasadena for just shy of a month.
Now, due to my work schedule I wasn’t able to make it until this week and one of the last shows of the production which ends on December 30th.
But I am so glad that I was able to go, and yes, I got to meet her again. <3
I know, I look like an idiot. But she had her head on my shoulder and I couldn’t get the camera to work. Nevermind I’ve had it for 4 years – I was a bit distracted okay!? LOL
I don’t have any photos from the production inside, but it was an amazing show.
It was very much a musical, and Ari had at least five solos, two group numbers, and one “dance” number set to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”
And the writing was so clever. I think my favorite line was just after Snow White learned that the queen had tried to kill her: “Oh my God, she’s so mean to me! She’s even meaner than Jade.”
Anyway, it was a great cast, a great show, and worth every penny. We’ve long known Ari can sing, but she clearly has some serious acting skills.
