Ryan Newman – Fun Size Premiere in LA

I would like to take a moment to formally introduce Ryan Newman to the NG family!

And that would be the Ryan Newman of See Dad Run, not the Nascar driver. xD

Ryan actually used to be a Disney girl – on XD’s Zeke and Luther – but she jumped ship to the orange team.

Which would be why she was at the Fun Size Premiere in LA. 🙂

Two things. First, she looks way older than 14 (which she is according to Wikipedia). Second, since Nick at Nite is technically not Nickelodeon but a sister channel, why is she here? I don’t object to her being here (variety is good in my opinion), I’m just curious why.

Mike, her show airs on Nickelodeon on Sunday nights at 8.

So it’s because Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite, although technically (and I know I’m splitting hairs here, but splitting hairs is what I do) are different, share the same channel? Okay.

Lol at the NASCAR driver comment because it really is something that comes up frequently.

Anyway, I hope to be seeing a lot more of her now. She’s gotta be one of the most beautiful 14 year old girls I’ve ever seen in my life. That sounds so weird since I’m DEFINITELY not 14, but I’m just being honest. I can’t help it. Like, it’s frustrating how gorgeous she is. I can’t even get past it. She really does look a bit older than 14 as well, but unfortunately this isn’t truly the case.

Oh, and to the above comments, Nick at Nite may technically be a different channel than Nickelodeon, but it’s still a part of Nickelodeon in a sense. They’re really only separate for rating purposes. The logos have similarities, and it’s called NICK at Nite because it’s Nickelodeon at Nighttime. Regardless of them being separate channels (for reasons already stated), it would be ridiculous to truly consider them so different that the girls in the original programming can’t be considered Nick Girls since it still is “Nick”. It’d be different if it was Nickelodeon and TNT in question because they’re completely different, but these two are basically one in the same, and if they are ‘sisters’, then they’re twins, which would be pretty much the closest that two sisters could be unless they were joined at the hip.

Given that Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite share the channel (or broadcast frequency / signal) I would say they are joined at the hip.
